Nepal observed the 2nd Annual Declaration of Peace

With the aim to mitigate the sorrows and worries caused of 25th April's mega-earthquake aftermath, Nepal observed the 2nd Annual Declaration of Peace.
A mass of youths gathered at Kathmandu on the occasion in a special program "Wish for Peace" to make the day remarked. The program was vitally addressed by some youths, intellectuals and contemporary religions youth leaders focusing on culture of mutual respect and cooperative interdependence for world peace.

HWPL's International Peace Youth Group (IPYG) affiliate Young Philosophers' Society (YPS) hosted the program at the capital with the theme "Pray for peace, Express of peace and Share of Peace."

T. N. Ghimire, the managing director of the Apple Int'l Education (AIE) with his welcome speech focused on proper and sensitive nurturing of children for peace in our society. YPS president R.D. Pandit spoke the inauguration speech sent by the global peace advocate Maa Hee Lee and Nam Hee Kim in the program.

Ishouddyan Chaitanya, a representative from International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) Nepal chanted Harinaam Kirtan as peace celebration. He stressed on spiritual awareness as the basis of all kinds of peace and harmony in human our society.

A renowned Nepali youth motivational speaker Mr. Nwaraj Phuyal, a senior leader of Manokranti Movement at Nepal as well stood with his funny sense and anecdotes pointing on positive interpretation of each and every event, may it be positive or negative for ever lasting peace in lives. He added, along with deep pain, sorrow and d








evastation the recent mega earthquake has brought many positive things to Nepal. Fist the present generation has got to experience this big disaster, above it we have got some strong lesson to be prepared for such disasters in future. Moreover it has cleaned all of the outdated and faulty structures; bringing us an opportunity to better rebuilt those for stronger new Nepal as well as peaceful Nepal.

Master Samim Amahad, a youth spiritual leader from Aahmadiya Sangh, Nepal Chapter with his Islamic perspective for world peace remarkably pointed on real understandings and practices of the Holy Scriptures. With the practice of basic human attitudes and sense of mutual respect as well as cooperative living can make this world a better and peaceful place to live in.
Nepalese are intensely seeking of peace and cooperation at present to heal the sorrows of quake and renew its devastation. So, let's bring hands closer to restore light and renew Nepal.

Usha Bhandari, the secretary of YPS as well as a PG student of peace at University spoke jotting peace quotations of world leaders. She implored youths to love work to be done and work with pure motives as well as continuous motion which will finally approach for self satisfaction and bring peace in us.

The very program president, Mr. Dhaneshwor Raut, Founder of Kamyak School Foundation in his concluding speech pointed the need of peace for youths and vice-versa. He said to imagine Nepal free from natural and human made conflicts and restore peace; youth should come up with the motive to work together with selfless. This is what Nepal is begging now.
